About SRM 2020

After the success of the first SRM conference, we are pleased to host the second biennial conference in sulfur risk management in exploration and production (E&P) operations. 

The conference brings together experts from scientific fields related to current practices and approaches to predict sulfur risk in exploration, reduce its impact in production, and handle sulfur effectively in new energy solutions such as geothermal.

Aim of the Conference

In order to consider the main issues related to the sulfur risk in E&P operations, the conference will be divided into separate sessions to reflect the level of interest in each topic. In this way, discussion of the various issues may trigger novel approaches to sulfur risk management in exploration and production. 

Principal topics of the conference sessions will address E&P challenges for sulfur-containing basins and new analytical tools for characterization of petroleum sulfur compounds. 

The event will feature a balance of invited keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and networking sessions.
