Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires is the capital and most populous city of the Argentine Republic. Its official names are City of Buenos Aires or Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It is located in the central-eastern region of the country, on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata, in the Pampas region. 

It is a cosmopolitan city and a major tourist destination. Its complex infrastructure makes it one of the most important metropolises in America and is an alpha category global city, given its influences in commerce, finance, fashion, art, gastronomy, education, entertainment and mainly in its marked culture.

The country is located in the southern hemisphere, so the seasons in Argentina are reversed compared to the northern hemisphere. Buenos Aires is a populous city and is among the 20 favorite destinations in the world a is one of the main cultural metropolises of the West.

The Cultural development can be seen in the large number of museums, theaters and libraries that can be found in the city. Buenos Aires has one of the largest concentrations of theaters in the world, ranking fourth among the cities with the largest number of theaters.
