Fernando Gutierrez

Tachyus

Fernando is Chief Executive Officer of Tachyus. As CEO of Tachyus, he is responsible for leading the Company to continued success. Prior to Tachyus, he, held several consulting, sales and management roles across many countries. He started at Schlumberger and worked at other oil and gas services companies for over 20 years, with focus on reservoir/production engineering integrated solutions in the digital transformation space of the industry.Fernando holds a MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M, USA and a Bs. in Geological Engineering from Escuela de Ingenieros, Colombia



Gaston Fondevila

Petroleum Engineer from ITBA with more than 17 years of experience, Master in Business and Company Management (executive MBA from IAE year 2023). ITBA Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teacher in the subject of Petrophysics and Reservoir Fluids for 15 years. He started as a Field Reservoir Engineer in Yac. Hernández, then began his career in CAPSA-Capex in 2008 where he currently works as Engineering Manager of the group, covering the areas of Reserves, Asset Evaluation for Farm-in and Farm-out, Special Projects, Tertiary Projects, Exchanges technicians with international operators, Relationship with Partners and Application Authorities, both for the Neuquén Basin and the San Jorge Gulf Basin. He has published about 8 papers related to secondary, tertiary recovery and fluid thermodynamics. Member of the SPE and SPEE, being one of the founders of the Latin American chapter. He was part of the committee and jury of various SPE and IAPG congresses.



Isabel Natalia Vega

YPF Tecnologia

Isabel  is an accomplished professional with over 18 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. As an Oil & Gas Specialist from ITBA (2020) and with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires (2007), she brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry.

Her expertise lies in polymer science, surfactants, and water control treatment. She has developed innovative products and solutions for field operations. Isabel has over 15 refereed papers related to the O&G industry, 5 patents, and a collaborative book. She has also guided 2 PhD students (from UBA and UNL) and 2 CONICET researchers.

Beyond her technical contributions, Isabel  leads a group of 31 individuals, including PhDs, engineers, and analysts as Leader of Innovate chemicals mission YPF Tecnología. Also she participates in YPF Mentoring and Expertise programs, contributing to the growth of emerging talent.

As a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Isabel has been involved in steering committees for IOR (Improved Oil Recovery) events worldwide. Additionally, she plays an active role in the IAPG EOR subcommittee. 



Eric Delamaide

IFP Technologies

Eric Delamaide is reservoir engineer and EOR expert, currently General Manager of IFP Technologies(Canada) Inc. in Calgary as well as the Manager EOR, Americas for the EOR Alliance. Eric has a degree in chemical engineering from the School of Mines in Saint Etienne, and a Master in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School, both in France. Eric has been involved in various capacities in over 60 EOR projects including over 35 polymer floods. Eric has published over 70 papers on reservoir engineering and EORand has served on multiple conference technical committees and workshops. He is the former chair of the SPE Distinguished Lecturers Committee and has received numerous awards including SPE CanadaService Award in 2018, the SPE Distinguished Member Award in 2019 and the “a Peer Apart” award from SPE in 2020.
