Green energy is a global trend. Offshore wind power is an important solutions to accelerate the global energy transition. Taiwan’s government actively promotes the development of the offshore wind farm industry. At lest 4 offshore windfarm will run into operation in 2023. It will connect 5.5 GW of new offshore wind capacity by 2025 and another 15 GW will be tendered by the government through the Round 3 auctions for commissioning by 2035. The booming offshore market in Taiwan prompts the gathering of the offshore wind developer all around the world and allowing Taiwan to be an export hub in surrounding area. More developments in offshore wind are expected in South-East Asia in the coming year. The workshop provides a stage to share the experience of Taiwan and introduce advanced technologies into the industries. Four panels relative to offshore windfarm will be addressed, including:
