Instructional Guides for Poster Speakers

The conference will be held fully online in our DIGITAL 2020 "Virtual Event Portal". This portal is now open to all presenters and registered attendees. Please read the information below carefully!

1. GENERAL INFO

1.1 Login to the Virtual Event Portal

To login to the online portal to see the conference timeline, you will need to use your email address (username) and Pin code (see "Be well prepared.." email). These details have been provided to all registered participants prior to the start of the conference.

1.2. Time Zones

Please note that all timings in the Technical Programme Schedule are in Central European Time (CET) / UTC+1. The only place where you can choose your browser time zone is in your "settings" of the Virtual Event Portal. If you choose this option on the Portal, please make sure to take this difference in timings into account when attending the sessions.

1.3. Refresh Browser

If you cannot see the session anymore or if you are having challenges with your audio please refresh your browser or try to sign-out and to sign back in.

2. CONNECT AS A E-POSTER SPEAKER

2.1. E-POSTER SESSIONS

There will be three poster sessions, see the Technical Programme Schedule for the full details.

Make sure to join your e-poster session 15 min before it starts. You will be asked to "welcome" virtual attendees to your poster while they wait in the "virtual queue". After accepting your attendees, you will be able to engage them via your webcam if available, or by sharing your screen and displaying your presentation.

Keep in mind that attendees have already had a chance to view your presentation so take this opportunity to go into detail, rather than repeating your powerpoint from start to finish.

Each session runs for 1 hour and you are expected to be present to talk to participants. There will not be individual time slots for the poster presentations, but rather delegates will be encouraged to engage with as many posters as they wish. You can take short breaks when you do not have anyone waiting in the "virtual queue" for your poster.
