Making visible what is hidden from the human eye: In a research project at the University of Bergen, funded by Wintershall Dea, we are showing what is happening when CO₂ is injected 2,000 metres under the seabed. At ECMOR 2024 you can watch a live CO₂ injection to find out why it is both safe and reliable. We will also demonstrate the next stage of the project where we are connecting a digital twin through VR glasses to empower more information and automatically optimising the model.
