1. GENERAL INFO

1.1 Login to the Virtual Event Portal

To login to the online portal to see the conference timeline, you will need to use your email address (username) and Pin code (see "Be well prepared.." email). These details have been provided to all registered participants prior to the start of the conference.

1.2. Time Zones

Please note that all timings in our website and PDF Programme are in British Summer Time (BST) / GMT+1. The only place where you can choose your browser time zone is in your "settings" of the Virtual Event Portal. If you choose this option on the Portal, please make sure to take this difference in timings into account when attending the sessions.

1.3. Refresh Browser

If you cannot see the session anymore or if you are having challenges with your audio please refresh your browser or try to sign-out and to sign back in.

2. PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE (from 7 September)

Start watching all video presentations that are now available to all registered participants to view only. These will be removed after the conference.

The videos are available on a separate platform from the conference online portal and a link to access these videos has been shared only with registered delegates.

There are in total 79 oral presentation videos (each 20 min long) and around 66 poster presentation videos (each 5 min long) to be viewed prior to the conference.

Important To Do:

1. Watch the video presentations you are interest in (both oral and poster presentations)

2. Create a document with questions you want to ask each presenter during the conference

3. During the Live Online Conference send your questions in writing to the session chairs (start with your name + affiliation for each questions)

4. The prepared document with questions will facilitate your task as participant to copy and paste your questions into the "?" bubble when you join the session

3. LIVE ONLINE CONFERENCE (14-17 September)

3.1. ORAL SESSIONS Q&A

Each oral session will have 4-5 presentations, the titles of which can be seen by expanding the Session Information box once you have joined a session.

Each presenter will give a 5 min highlight talk about their paper, followed by 10 min live Q&A.

Participants are muted during oral sessions, but you can ask questions and the session Chair will ask as many questions as possible to the presenter during the Q&A.

Important! :

- Have your document with questions and programme with you

- Ask your prepared questions in writing in the questions "?" bubble

- To ask a question please type first your Name and Affiliation

- If your question could not be answered live, you can reach the presenter in the "Meeting Hub" and ask your unanswered question directly

3.2. E-POSTER SESSIONS

There will be two poster sessions, which will both be held twice: once at 12:00 hrs and once at 16:15 hrs, on different days. The presentations in each poster session are divided into subtopics to facilitate your search for poster discussions you are interested in joining.

You can join any of the poster presentations, after which you will automatically enter a "virtual queue". Please be patient and wait for a few minutes until the presenter accepts your request to join the presentation. After the presenter welcomes you to the discussion, they will be able to give you a recap and answer questions about their presentation available the week before the conference.

At any time you will be able to leave the e-poster and go back to the timeline to join another e-poster. When the discussion is finished the presenter will remove the current attendees and accept the next group.

Important! :

- Join the poster presenter by "virtually queuing", be patient and wait a few minutes until the presenter accepts your request to join his presentation

- Ask questions in writing in the "Live Q&A" window

- Ask questions using your mic if the presenter has unmuted you
