King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a graduate research university established in 2009 devoted to finding solutions for some of the most pressing scientific and technological challenges in the world. KAUST is located on the Red Sea at Thuwal, and sited on more than 36 square Kilometres (14 sq mi), encompassing a marine sanctuary, museum, and research facility.
