Ahmad Riza Ghazali, PETRONAS Research Sdn. Bhd

Ahmad Riza Ghazali has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry especially in R&D and technology development. He championed and advised various technology projects for PETRONAS in the area of subsurface imaging and reservoir characterization. He serves on the Industry Advisory Panel for the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. He is an active member of EAGE and SEG and sits as Asia Pacific Advisory Panel for SEG. 

Jeremy Smith, HiSeis Pty Ltd

Jeremy is a founding employee of HiSeis, a technology company commercialized out of Curtin University in 2011, specializing in Hard Rock Seismic. Jeremy holds an honours degree in geophysics and an MBA from Curtin University. His work has seen him design and execute extensive seismic exploration programs internationally throughout North and South America, Africa and Europe, as well as domestically over many of Australia’s most prominent mining prospects. Jeremy’s current role as General Manager of Technology at HiSeis is focused on developing and implementing novel and emerging technologies into the mining life cycle, leveraging seismic data for subsurface characterization.

Denis Kiyashchenko, Shell International Exploration and Production Inc

Denis Kiyashchenko is Senior Research Geophysicist with Shell International Exploration and ProductionInc. He joined Shell in 2006 and since then have worked in various assignments in R&D and OU environments in Netherlands, USA and Brunei. Over his career Denis have worked on developing and applying imaging, time-lapse seismic monitoring and reservoir characterization technologies in various geographic locations and subsurface settings. His current interests are centered around low-cost seismic monitoring, time-lapse Ocean Bottom Node seismic applications in challenging settings and quantitative interpretation of reservoir 4D responses. Denis Kiyashchenko received his PhD in Geophysics from Saint-Petersburg State University in Russia. 

Brian Seabrook, Exxonmobil Upstream Research Company

Brian Seabrook is a Wells Research Engineer with ExxonMobil where he has been employed since 2001.  His work is focused on downhole fiber optic instrumentation, data analysis, and workflow development to support surveillance and optimization of wells and facilities.  He is a Professional Engineer licensed in the state of Texas, USA.  Brian completed his Ph.D. in 2001 after receiving a Bachelor's degree in 1997, both from Duke University.
