The Technical Committee invite practitioners, innovators and industry experts to contribute to this workshop and share their achievements and challenges, lay out big innovative ideas and seek new alliances to jointly develop a road for the future.

Contributors are welcome to submit abstracts of 2-4 pages in length. Submission for posters & oral presentations is welcome on all topics. Professionals, Bachelor, Master or PhD students are invited to share their work.

Please submit abstracts on the following topics:

1. South Atlantic Equatorial Margins HC plays: Targeting the Brazil Equatorial Margin, but also its Conjugate in Africa and Guyana Suriname.

  • Geodynamics evolution of the Equatorial Margin and thermicity:

            - Structural evolution of the margin.

            - Inheritance and resulting trapping style.

  • Petroleum systems of the Equatorial Margins:

          - SR potential.

          - Play diversity of the Brazil Equatorial Margin (DW turbidites & others).

          - Learnings from Guyana / Suriname-

          - Trapping styles and mechanisms. 

  • Deep dive in turbiditic reservoir: targeting the Brazil Equatorial Margin, but also its conjugate in Africa and Guyana Suriname:        

         - Quantitative Seismic Interpretation in Turbidite reservoirs.

         - Reservoir quality: how to predict it – Source to Sink.

         - Quantification of Seal quality and impact on prediction of column height.

         - Best risking and volumetric approaches for stratigraphic traps.

2. New Technologies – Digital Transformation and Computational Technologies "Which technologies will enable to unlock the Equatorial Margin potential".
