EAGE is pleased to announce the Fourth EAGE Conference on Pre-Salt Reservoir.

This event will take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of the main economic centers, of cultural and financial resources, the second city with the production industry and headquarters of the most important Brazilian companies in the oil sector.


Language

The official language in Brazil is Portuguese, which comes from Portugal, but ours has a different accent and some different idiomatic expressions. Many Brazilians speak English and Spanish

Currency

The currency in Brazil is the REAL (R$). It can be exchanged at banks, exchange brokers, travel agencies, and authorized hotels. The official exchange rate is published daily in newspapers and specialized websites.

Weather

The weather in Rio de Janeiro is warm all year round. The best time to visit the city is from June to September, when it is not so hot and there is less rain. Please take light and comfortable clothes if you are planning to walk around the city.
