Lounes ADOUR is geoscience background, with more than 19 years’ experience at Sonatrach in prospecting and exploration for new opportunities, mainly in sedimentology, petrophysics, reservoir characterization and modeling, geochemistry and basin modeling and in prospect and play assessment.
He joined ALNAFT in January 2016, where he successively held the positions of Director of Prospective Studies and Strategic and Technological Intelligence from 2016 to July 2022, and of Promotion and Enhancement of the National Mining Field of Hydrocarbons from 2022 to October 2025. From November 2025 until today, he ensures the coordination of the Strategic pole in charge of Unconventional Resources at the ALNAFT.
Geoscientist, ALNAFT
Dr. Hocine Djouder is a Geoscientist, Sedimentologist, and Clay Scientist with over +15 years of international R&D experience in applied geoscience and unconventional hydrocarbon exploration, with a focus on the Silurian succession of North Africa. He earned his Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Liège (Belgium), in collaboration with the CSIRO – Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (Australia). He also holds degrees from the University of Poitiers, Paris-Saclay University (France), and the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (Algeria).Dr. Djouder has contributed to major international projects, led numerous field campaigns, and worked with leading institutions, including Beicip-Franlab, CSIRO, and the Polish Academy of Sciences. He currently serves as a Geoscientist in Unconventional Resources at the ALNAFT – National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (Algeria) and as a Scientific Collaborator at the University of Liège.
General Manager, IFP Technologies
Eric Delamaide is reservoir engineer and EOR expert, currently General Manager of IFP Technologies (Canada) Inc. in Calgary. Eric has a degree in chemical engineering from the School of Mines in Saint Etienne, and a Master in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School, both in France. Eric has been involved in various capacities in close to 100 EOR projects including over 40 polymer floods. He has published over 90 papers on reservoir engineering and EOR and has served on multiple conference technical committees and workshops. He is the former chair of the SPE Distinguished Lecturers Committee and has received numerous awards including SPE Canada Service Award in 2018, the SPE DistinguishedMember Award in 2019 and the “a Peer Apart” award from SPE in 2020.
