Overview
This workshop will serve as a forum for presentations and discussions on various aspects of marine acquisition technology. We encourage contributions to technological advances in this field and invite participants to share their experiences, lessons learned, and visions for future by submitting papers that are innovative, novel and interesting. In addition, well-regarded key-note speakers will outline their views of challenges and advances in the industry. The workshop is suitable for all geophysicists with an interest in marine geophysical acquisition, as well as students and persons from academic institutions, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, survey design geophysicists and processing geophysicists.
…The 2018 program showcased the state of the art in acquisition technology, with an excellent balance of talks from operators, seismic vendors and academia.
