Event Attendance Guidelines
The Second EAGE Marine Acquisition Workshop will be held in hybrid format meaning participants will have the choice of attending online or in-person. On-site attendees should take careful note of the below guidelines in order to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all present:
Preparing to Attend
- The Government of Norway provides guidelines for entry into the country including a list of countries from which arrivals must self quarantine for 10 days. If you are required to self quarantine please follow the recommendations carefully. For the latest government measures and advice before you travel abroad please visit the website of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
- Registered persons should refrain from attending the event in-person if symptomatic (dry cough, fever, tiredness). If you develop symptoms or are not feeling well you are encouraged to attend online.
- Participants are encouraged to carry with them a face covering.
Registration
- Registration begins at 8:00 CEST. Please arrive early to allow adequate time due to delays caused by social distancing and other procedures.
- Participants will be asked to sanitise their hands using the provided hand gel upon entry.
- All registration will be done contactless including collection of badges and outstanding payments (credit or debit card only).
- During your on-site registration you will be asked to complete a self-screening form in the Event Mobile App before receiving your badge. The self-screening form will be retained together with your name, contact details and attendance record until after the event.
While Attending
- Participants should observe the floor markings and signage in the venue.
- Participants will do their best to stay at least 1m distance from other participants, restricting their movements appropriately to allow others to pass or shift.
- Participants may not rearrange or move the furniture without permission from the organizers.
- If a participant begins to feel sick during the event, they should inform the EAGE on-site staff and depart and begin to isolate immediately.
- Participants should avoid hand shaking and other physical contact. You can exchange contact information contactless using the badge scanner function in the Event Mobile App.
Post Event
- Kindly note that your attendance record including contact details may be shared with the local authorities up to 10 days after the event in keeping with requirements for responsible contact tracing procedures.
- The attendance record, contact details and self-screening form will be deleted 12 days after the event or when possible contract tracing procedures have finished. If participants(“data subjects”) wish to exercise their rights under the GDPR (such as rights of access and rectification) a request can be sent to EAGE (“the controller”) through:
