Workshop Overview

The Sixth EAGE Borehole Geology Workshop, under the theme of Advancing Borehole Geology: Integrating Multidisciplinary Approaches, is set to take place from 22 - 24 September 2025. Building on the success of previous workshops in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023, this event will continue to bring together the geoscience community to share knowledge and best practices in borehole geology and identify frontiers of the geoscience and technology.

The workshop's focus will be on advancing the original scope of the series, which aims to bridge the gap between 1-D hole data and 3-D earth digital models. This will involve exploring the latest technological innovations and applications in borehole geology, as well as its role in various global industries, including energy, mining, and environment.

We invite submissions under the below listed topics that utilize borehole data. The workshop will provide a platform for discussing and sharing knowledge on various aspects of borehole geology, including hydrocarbon reservoir and field studies, best practices, integrated approaches, and new applications in emerging fields.

Furthermore, this event will serve as a catalyst for collaboration among borehole geologists and professionals from other subsurface disciplines. Join us from 22 - 24 September 2025, to be part of this exciting opportunity to advance our understanding of borehole geology and its applications.
