Attributes to Impact Decision Making

WELCOME

The objective of the workshop is to discuss the current progress and future trends in Interpretation of Attributes with emphasis on results that impact decision making.  Applications in varying geologic environments (eg deepwater, salt, clastics/carbonates), quantitative interpretation, advanced attributes extraction, new interpretation methods and artificial intelligence machine learning shall be covered, from improving subsurface/reservoir imaging to hydrocarbon prediction.  Main considerations are risks, uncertainties and pitfalls in interpretation of attributes.

Novel Coronavirus Update

EAGE is continuing to monitor the Novel Coronavirus situation through the advice of federal territory health authorities. We want to assure our attendees that health and safety is our paramount and first concern as we consider the decisions around the workshop. To reduce risks of exposure and transmission of the Novel Coronavirus, the following safety measures will be implemented:

  • Instructions to hotel for increased cleaning and disinfection programme across all high-volume touchpoints, e.g. catering areas, surfaces, handrails, WCs, microphones, etc.
  • Thermal scanning device available at the workshop venue
  • Awareness and training to all staff on standard personal preventative measures, e.g. personal hygiene, frequency of use of sanitising/disinfection products, etc.
  • Availability of hand sanitisers and surgical masks for all attendees
  • Communicating advice to all attendees to adopt a ‘no-handshake policy’
  • Communication to attendees of be conscious of proper general hygiene

However, we will continue to review the situation and the impact of the virus on travel/events and adapt our advice accordingly. If directions change, we will notify everyone involved through emails and this website.
