There is growing interest in landslides and related disasters caused by frequent earthquakes and heavy rains brought about by climate change. East and Southeast Asian countries are particularly vulnerable to such disasters. What we can do after a disaster is limited and it is important to prepare in advance. Geophysics will be able to play important roles to mitigate landslide related disasters, and many researchers are trying to mitigate the disasters using geophysical methods. We need a common platform to exchange our research and make discussions to strengthen our activity. This workshop intends to provide such a place and we invite contributions that report and discuss the use of geophysical methods to landslides and related phenomena.
We invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit abstracts for this prestigious pre-conference workshop. This is an opportunity to share innovative ideas, recent findings, and advancements in your field with a global audience. Submissions should be original and contribute to the ongoing dialogue in your area of expertise. Please ensure your abstract is concise and clearly outlines the objectives, methods, and conclusions of your work. The deadline for submission is Saturday, 1 March 2025, 2359 hrs (UTC+8). We look forward to your valuable contribution!
This pre-conference workshop is organized with the essential support of the technical committee members.
