Information for Online Presenters

We are glad to have you sharing your knowledge at one of our workshops! Please find below all useful information to help you prepare for your presentation. If you still have questions concerning your presentation, please send an e-mail to puc@eage.org.

Pre-record your video presentation

We ask all presenters to submit a pre-recorded video presentation by the 28th September 2020, at 23:00 hrs (CEST). We will make all video presentations available one week prior to the workshop (15 October 2020) to all registered participants to view only and these will be removed after the workshop.

If a speaker is not able to come to the event to present their own presentation, they should inform the EAGE office before 15 October to indicate this.

Your virtual presentation

The workshop will be held fully online in our virtual portal. All presenters will receive login details to this portal to attend the full workshop.

Please make sure to join the session you will present in 15 min. before it starts, to meet the session chairs and familiarise yourself with the online system. You will be asked to give a 10 min. highlight talk about your presentation, followed by 5 min. live Q&A.

EAGE Video Series

Presenting to a live audience, whether they are a small group of colleagues or dozens of people is something learned from practice. That is why EAGE would like to help you on your way. Six seasoned presenters shared their experience and advice on preparing presentations on how to capture and how to keep the audience’s attention and on what they have learned over the years. The videos address different questions and situations, so whatever your concern is, the answer is here. This teaser introduces all speakers with a short ‘soundbite’. We are delighted that they have shared their advice and experience with us in this new EAGE video series! For all other videos click on the link below.
