Principal Subject Matter Expert, BP
Anna is a Principal Subject Matter Expert for Sedimentology and Stratigraphy bp’s central subsurface team, providing support to our global gas, oil and low carbon assets. Previously Anna was a Business Development Geologist in bp’s Middle East Team and specialist carbonate sedimentologist in the central specialists team. Prior to moving to bp, Anna was a consultant sedimentologist and reservoir geologist with Robertson’s for 14 years, specializing in carbonate reservoirs. Anna has a PhD in Chalk Sedimentology, and MSc in Sedimentology and its Applications from Reading University, UK.
Manager Field Development Gas Group, Kuwait Oil Company
Moudi graduated from Kuwait University in 1997. I joined Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) in 1998. She has a Master degree in Petroleum Engineering since 2007. She started as a petroleum engineer then for most of my career as a reservoir engineer in Kuwait Oil Company. She have 25 years of experience looking after 22 clastic and carbonate reservoirs of North Kuwait. These reservoirs’ contribution has been almost 650,000 barrels of oil per day with effective and sound reservoir management best practices. As Team Leader of Field Development of Raudhatain Field, then Team Leader of Reservoir Studies team in Fields Development Group in North Kuwait, Moudi led the team pioneering Water flood and EOR/IOR in NK reservoirs as well as Urban Planning and new technologies applications. Moudi has been promoted to the present position of Manager Field Development Gas Group managing KOC HT/HP Jurassic reservoirs with the strategic objective of meeting and sustaining ~1BCF of gas production.
Moudi published several papers in SPE and other forums on simulation, field development, waterflood and EOR as well as serving as committee members in SPE events.
Principal Geologist, Shell
Jeremy Harris is presently Principal Geologist for Shell Kuwait, and is supporting the KOC North Kuwait Jurassic Gas Asset grow its production capacity from conventional and unconventional carbonate reservoirs. Jeremy has a first class honours degree from the Australian National Centre for Petroleum Geology and Geophysics, University of South Australia, and has 30 year’s global experience working in Australia, Oman, Africa and Kuwait. In this time he has worked both oil and gas assets with different recovery schemes, including water flooding, oil-rim developments, depletion, gas-oil-gravity-drainage and strong aquifer drive. His varied roles in exploration, development, drilling, reservoir management and production operations has given him a strong appreciation of where integration and collaboration across the disciplines can yield maximum value.
Interpretation Development Specialist, GEOLOG
Ahmad Shoeibi obtained a BSc Degree in Reservoir Engineering from Azad university of Iran. Ahmad has worked in a variety of roles for Geolog International B.V in countries in the Middle East and Central Europe. He has performed detailed integrated formation evaluation analysis, specializing in Fracture Detection, Geo-Steering and Reservoir Evaluation using surface logging techniques. Ahmad is currently employed as a Global Formation Evaluation Manager. Ahmad has co-authored a number of papers in the AAPG, EAGE, IPTC, SPE and SPWLA.
