Wednesday 5 June from 9.00 to 10.30, South Gallery Room 20/22
A new Special Interest Community has been developed and launched within the Association this year: Decarbonization & Energy Transition. This new group aims at being the reference EAGE platform to promote knowledge and develop skills among geoscientists and engineers working with Decarbonization & Energy Transition technologies, on both the geo-scientific and engineering aspects of surface and subsurface decarbonization including CO2 sequestration and the advancement of renewables such as geothermal energy production. Members of this group are invited to join discussions, circulate news and ideas, and discover all opportunities offered by EAGE, including the possibility of becoming a reviewer, co-chairing technical sessions, participating in the organization of future events on decarbonization and energy transition, and connecting with a worldwide network of professionals. The network is open to all EAGE members active in these fields or interested in exploring possibilities.
Are you interested in learning more? Then join the first special session organized by the community at the EAGE Annual 2019!
All delegates are invited. This session is free of charge and does not require any pre-registration. Join the LinkedIn group to receive updates about all EAGE activities for decarbonization and energy transition geoscience.
