EAGE GeoTech 2022 Workshops
The GeoTech Conference combines multiple technical workshops into one amazing multidisciplinary programme! Participants will benefit from exposure to four dedicated technical programmes with opportunities for crossover knowledge exchange and interaction.
CO2 Geological Storage
The workshop will address state-of-the-art insights on overall integrity of CO2 storage including subsurface formation characterization, wells & infrastructure integrity, storage capacity & pressure management, monitoring & remediation, and CO2EOR. Non-technical topics such as risk communication, social & regulatory issues, and resource required to meet the challenges to safely implement large scale CCS will also be covered.
Distributed Fibre Optic Sensing
The Third EAGE Workshop on Fibre Optic Sensing seeks to continue our exploration of the use of distributed optical fibre sensors for diverse energy and industrial applications. The workshop will focus predominantly on geoscience and engineering applications utilizing distributed acoustic (DAS), temperature (DTS) and strain (DSS) systems.
Reservoir Management in Mature Fields
The First EAGE Workshop on Reservoir Management of Mature Fields presents an opportunity to discuss and share experiences on managing mature fields with a particular focus on the North Sea. This workshop aims to bring together the cross-discipline community working and managing mature fields to compare techniques and assess whether their own workflows for managing fields are optimal or even appropriate.
