Second EAGE Conference on Seismic Inversion

7 - 9 February 2022 | Online Event

How to Prepare Your Presentation

We are glad to have you sharing your knowledge at one of our conferences! Please find below all useful information to help you prepare for your presentation. If you still have questions concerning abstract submission or technical programme please send an e-mail to abstracts@eage.org

Presentations will be given by speakers live during the assigned session slot. A pre-recorded video of your presentation is also asked and will be used as a back-up, for example if you have connectivity issues and cannot share your screen. If you prefer to present using your pre-recorded presentation instead, please let us know by sending an email to abstracts@eage.org.

The deadline to submit the pre-recorded videos has been extended to 23 January 2022.

All Presenters

You have a 20 min session slot - allow at least 5 min for the Q&A part of your presentation*
Use the conference PPT template to create your presentation
We strongly advise to record a video in standard HD (1920 x 1080) or 720 p (1280 x 720) and save in video format (e.g. mp4, m4v, mkv, etc.)
Name video as follows: "PaperNumber_FirstName_LastName"
(The paper number can be found in acceptance email)
Upload your presentation here

* The Q&A time will be adjusted according to the presentation duration. E.g. If the presentation lasts for 17 min, only 3 min will be left for Q&A.

Pre-record your video presentation

We ask all presenters to submit a pre-recorded video presentation by Sunday 23 January 2022

How to record your video presentation? Watch this video for instructions on how to record your computer screen while presenting your (power-point) presentation.

The above software is a recommendation, you can however use any recording platform that you are familiar or comfortable with.

It is strongly recommended to rehearse your presentation before recording, and review the recorded video before submitting it. Once submitted, the video cannot be changed.

Check the list of pre-recording tips for more ideas on how to record a good video.
