Randolph Hiscock

Managing Director

Challenger Energy

Randolph (Randy) Hiscock is the Uruguay Managing Director for Challenger Energy. He has 30 years of global energy expertise with specific focus on Latin America & the Caribbean and a proven track record of discovering hydrocarbons, deal/acreage delivery and offshore exploration management in Guyana, Columbia, Brazil and Atlantic Canada. He was Shell’s General Manager for the Americas New Venture and Business Development for approximately 10 years based in Houston. Prior to Shell, he was EnCana’s South American VP for Exploration.

Randy has a Masters of Science (Geology) and an MBA in International Oil &Gas Studies from Memorial University in Canada and is a member of AAPG and PESGB. He lives in St. John’s, Canada.




Hernán Maretto

Exploration Manager

YPF

Hernán Maretto is Exploration Manager for YPF since July 2023. He obtained a Geology degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba and a Master degree in Business administration from the International Business School of Latin America. Previously, he held the position of Argentina South Onshore Exploration Manager.

With more than 27 years in the O&G business, he has assumed a wide variety of roles in YPF and RepsolYPF, working in exploration and development projects in all Argentine productive basins, in both conventional and unconventional plays. Ha has been involved in the exploration, appraisal and development of the world class Vaca Muerta unconventional play concept. He has also international experience working for Repsol in the offshore Atlantic margin, as Exploration Manager in the Campos, Spirito Santo & Equatorial margin of Brazil.

He has more than 20 contributions,  publications, and participations in national and international conferences.




Casey Donohue

Director, International New Ventures

Apache Corporation

DR. CASEY DONOHUE joined Apache Corporation in 2011, where he served the E&P Technology team in a global capacity with roles of increasing responsibility, then later as Director of Conventional Exploration, including responsibility for the Dominican Republic exploration and Suriname exploration and appraisal programs. He currently serves APA CORP in a global role as the Director of International New Ventures.Prior to joining Apache, Casey served as a Geologist with ExxonMobil as well as BHP Billiton where he worked on various Exploration, Development and Production teams across a wide range of global assets. He holds a BS Geology degree from the University of New Hampshire and aMS and PhD in Geology from the University of Michigan.



Dina Blades

Dina Blades has just under 20 years of exploration experience with Shell. She is a geologist by background and has worked both in mature assets, like Russia and Brunei and greenfield assets, like Myanmar. Her expertise are the first phases of execution of new assets having previously done so in Asia, Central Europe and FSU. Currently she is the Exploration Manager for all Emerging
