Glauce is a Wood Mackenzie’s Upstream Senior Research Analyst based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie in 2022, Glauce worked for over 20 years as an exploration geologist and team coordinator in companies such as Wintershall Dea and Ecopetrol Brazil. She has experience in Brazil’s onshore/offshore basins and clastic/carbonate environments.
Glauce holds a Master’s in Petroleum Geology from Royal Holloway London University and an MBA in Oil & Gas from FGV.
Javier Hernández-Molina

Dr. Hernández-Molina is currently Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL). He is a specialist in sedimentary processes, seismic stratigraphy and basin analysis, and is experienced in core description and sediment structures identification. His research focuses on deep-marine sedimentation and the influence of bottom-current circulation along continental margins as well as the study of contourites and hybrid depositional systems. He has worked on different continental margins, and has particular expertise on the Iberian continental margin, South Atlantic and Antarctica.

An Oil Exploration and Production Geoscientist with over a decade of experience across the full upstream oil and gas value chain nationally and internationally working for HRT and NAMCOR. Simon have earned exceptional knowledge and understanding of diverse petroleum systems primarily those found in basins along the conjugate margins of West Africa (Namibia, South Africa & Angola) and South America (offshore Brazil & Uruguay), Niger Delta, North Sea, Wessex Basin, Ainsa Basin, Gulf of Mexico and Middle East.
Simon has an MSc Petroleum Geoscience degree from Heriot-Watt University & University of Edinburgh in Scotland, Unite Kingdom and BSc Honours Geological Engineering degree from Universidad de Moa, in the Republic of Cuba. He has presented at international and national conferences such as EAGE, AAPG, PESGB and 50th Anniversary of Geological Society of Namibia based on Namcor’s Prospect Inventory Project as well as other geoscience projects while working at Namcor. Additionally, Simon has also presented AAPG GTW Conference held in Windhoek Namibia on Aptian Source Kerogen Types, Distribution, and Maturity and its Implications on Prospectivity in the Orange Basin, Namibia.

Dustin Van Liew is the Vice President of Global Policy & Government Affairs at EnerGeo Alliance and been with the Alliance since 2015. He has extensive legislative and regulatory engagement experience at national and international levels. With sixteen years’ experience in policy and government affairs, Dustin is a leading authority on public and government lands and international natural resource policy issues, thanks to his extensive knowledge of the legislative history and ability to successfully navigate through the many legal challenges facing natural resource-based industries. He is also an expert in providing guidance for resource regulatory frameworks.
Scientific Director
EnerGeo
Dr. Alex Loureiro is the Scientific Director at the EnerGeo Alliance. In this role, she supports the EnerGeo Alliance’s mission to address critical scientific and policy issues related to noise in the marine environment and the impacts on marine life. Alex holds an undergraduate degree in marine science and biology and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in marine biology, and brings several years of research experience in marine mammal behavior and fisheries science, including fine-scale habitat usage of bottlenose dolphins and best practices for catch success in the longline reef fish fishery. She has also worked closely with a variety of marine mammal species in aquariums for husbandry purposes.
