NB: This is the current situation and may change in the coming weeks.
Before departure
Before departure
Vaccination is a key step towards getting life back to normal. The Netherlands launched its Covid-19 vaccination programme on 6 January 2021. Now – six months later – with 15 million vaccine doses administered, the positive impact of the programme and the measures taken are reflected in a decrease of positive tests.
The Netherlands will take the last step in further reopening our society safely. Measures have been decreased and events are taking place. Last step in release of measures is planned for July/August, after that no measures (social distancing, mouth mask etc.) are imposed.
The Netherlands is affiliated with the EU Digital COVID Certificate initiative to facilitate safe and free movement within the EU. The regulation was adopted by the European Parliament on 7-10 June and will apply from 1 July. The certificate provides proof that a person has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, tested negative for- or recovered from COVID-19. Other initiatives developed, or to be developed elsewhere in the world can/may be linked to this EU initiative as well. For more information, please click here.
Upon arrival at the venue, attendees have two options for demonstrating they are eligible to attend the event; including proof on smartphone EU Digital COVID Certificate of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hours). Please consider the required timeframes associated with either option so you can plan ahead accordingly. You can display your test results or proof of vaccination on your smartphone EU Digital COVID Certificate.
You can find the safety plan measures we have taken below. Please note that any and all arrangements may be subject to change.
