As of September 25, it is mandatory to show a corona admission ticket in the hospitality industry (except take-out restaurants), at events (such as conferences, festivals, performances, etc.) and at screenings of art and culture (such as in cinemas and theatres).

Here is a short explanation on how to book a test.
TIP: You can book all the tests necessary in advance, so you don't have to worry about it anymore during show days!
First, click on the link above or go to https://www.testenvoortoegang.org/.
1. Choose for what type of activity you want to get tested and choose yes or no on the question if you have symptoms.
2. Choose a date and time.
3. Fill in location Europaplein, Amsterdam (this is the RAI).
4. Choose preferred time (TIP: if you choose different start times of the event at step 2, then you will see more/different time options at this step).
5. Fill in your mobile number and keep your mobile standby; a text message will be sent with a unique code that needs to be verified within 10 minutes.
6. Your appointment is made. Fill in your personal data and a confirmation will be sent by email as well.

■ Where can I get tested?
There are currently over 120 locations where you can be tested for entry. Here you can see an overview of the test locations. When making an appointment you will see the locations closest to you.
■ Do I need to get tested if I am already vaccinated?
No, that is not necessary. If you have been vaccinated, you can receive a proof of vaccination via the CoronaCheck app or via coronacheck.nl and you'll have a valid COVID Certificate.
Please note! For tourists from outside the EU you must still be tested, even if you are vaccinated, to access an event or activity. You can only use the vaccination certificate to enter the Netherlands and not to visit an event, a restaurant or a museum.

■ I want to travel. Can I get tested at Testing for Entry (Testen voor Toegang)?
No, a test result from Testing for Entry cannot be used to travel. For more information on Testing for Travel, visit the Dutch government's website.
■ How much does it cost to get a test?
The cost of the access test is currently paid for by the central government. With this, there is no cost to you as a visitor.
■ What do I need to bring to my testing appointment?
Your appointment confirmation, a valid ID and a face mask. Please note! It is not possible to test with a copy of your ID.
■ What if I arrive late to my appointment?
If you are late, we will not be able to see you. In this case you will need to make a new appointment.
■ What type of test is used?
Rapid tests validated by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and administered by a qualified healthcare professional. The medical and pharmaceutical responsibility for testing lies with the physicians and pharmacists employed by the test provider. The usual testing method is a nasal swab. However, the test provider might choose to also test by throat swab.

■ What do I need to bring to the event?
A valid proof of testing in the CoronaCheck app or printed via www.coronacheck,nl, your ID and an admission ticket. Make sure you also have the CoronaMelder app on your phone to reduce the risk of spreading possible infections.
■ Who will check my COVID Certificate so I can gain entry?
The organizer of the activity or event checks at the start if you have a valid COVID Certificate via the QR code in the CoronaCheck app or via a QR code from coronacheck.nl. For more information, visit coronacheck.nl. International visitors within the EU can also access activities or events with the Digital Corona Certificate (DCC).
■ What if I get infected during an activity/event?
Participation in the activities or events for which you need a valid COVID admission ticket is at your own risk. More information on the measures you should take if you develop symptoms can be found on the Dutch government's website.
Visitors as well as employees, volunteers and performers are strongly advised to take a self-test on day 5 after the activity.
■ How can I make an appointment to get tested?
You can do so via this website.
■ How far in advance should I get tested?
The test result is valid for 24 hours, so you must get tested within 24 hours prior to the activity or event. You can get tested up until two hours before the start of the activity/event. To minimize risk, we recommend that you get tested as close to the starting time of the activity/event as possible. You can make appointsments for multiple tests in advance
It is advised to administer a self-test 5 days after the event.
■ Where can I see my test results?
You will receive an email that contains a link to retrieve your test result. The link will lead you to your test result and a unique code. Use this code to convert your test result to a valid COVID Certificate in the form of a QR code via the CoronaCheck app or coronacheck.nl .
■ How long will it take to get my results?
In principle, you will receive the results within two hours. Sometimes it can take a little longer. Keep an eye on your spam folder. Did you not receive the results? Then contact the help desk via 088-7770809. Testing for Entry is not liable for late test results.
■ How long is my result valid?
Your test result is valid for 24 hours.
■ My test result is positive. Now what?
If you test positive, you will not be given a COVID Certificate and therefore will not be allowed to enter the activity or event. Follow the guidelines of the Dutch government immediately.
The test provider reports your result to the Municipal Health Services (GGD). The GGD calls you for the source and contact investigation. You do not have to call the GGD or do any additional testing.

Please note A proof of recovery is currently only available with a positive test result from the the Municipal Health Services (GGD). Check the situation on your hotel, it might be required to check for breakfast, lunch and or dinners in your hotel!!!
