Ingeborg Graabak is a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Energy Research. Her main field of expertise is modelling and analyses of the transition of the energy and power systems towards low carbon versions in Europe, in the Nordic region and in Norway. She holds a PhD in Power Electric Engineering. She is a member of EERA (European Energy Research Alliance) Joint Program Energy System Integration.
Dr Graabak is currently coordinating the H2020 project
openENTRANCE. openENTRANCE (open ENergy TRansition ANalyses for a low-Carbon Economy) aims at developing, using and disseminating an open, transparent and integrated modelling platform for assessing low-carbon transition pathways in Europe. The openENTRANCE modelling platform will shed light on the implications and economic costs associated with the different energy pathways that Europe could take towards its climate goals. With this scientific basis, openENTRANCE aims at helping social, economic and political actors in a better decision making.
