PACE Support

The programme for Association and Cooperation in Earth Sciences (PACE) is funded by EAGE and supports individual geoscientists to participate actively in selected EAGE events. This support is available for accepted speakers who cannot obtain financial support from other sources. With the PACE programme, EAGE strives to encourage the exchange of information and knowledge among the global geoscientific community.

COVID-19 Update

In view of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and the current restrictions related to (international) travel and governmental policies, we would like to inform you that, if granted, the PACE support will be limited to registration fee waivers.

We aim to inform all grant applicants about the results of their grant application (registration fee waiver grant) closer to the new event date which will now be held on 18 - 21 October 2021.  For those who have applied last year for Annual Conference and had chose to present their paper for 2021 Annual Conference will not need to submit an application again.  It will be included in this year list of grant application.

As we continue to monitor the development of the situation worldwide and its impact on our scheduled events, we will update this page. In the meantime, we advise you to follow our general coronavirus advisory .

Selection Process

The PACE support is coordinated by the PACE Committee.  Please note that PACE is a support, but not a full reimbursement of costs.

The grant application now closed.  The deadline for grant applications was 15 May 2021. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. The results will be communicated to all that have applied via email in August 2021.

For further information on the selection criteria, please see here. For questions regarding grants you can contact us at grants@eage.org.
