How to Prepare a Video Presentation

Information for Online Oral Presenters

Kindly note: Submitting a video presentation is welcomed but not mandatory. Online presenters may still choose to present live via our online event platform.

1. Prepare your presentation

  • In the title slide, make sure to add your presentation title and name (co-author names are optional) but refrain from adding logos and/or modifying the design.

Please keep in mind that the focus of the presentations is the scientific content.

It is not allowed to include your company logo or name on all slides of the template, including the cover.

It is allowed to include the company logo or name on the first and the last slide of the presentation.

2. Record your video presentation (for oral presenters only!)

  • Record your presentation - Check out this video on how to record your computer screen while presenting your (power-point) presentation.
Keep in mind that if you include a frame of yourself, it will cover part of the screen and text and graphics will not be visible there.

  • Up to 15 minutes video duration (this leaves max 5 minutes for Q&A)

  • Save the file in MP4 video format. If you can only save in another video format, please make sure you convert it to MP4.

  • Name the presentation as follows: "PaperNumber_FirstName_LastName" (e.g. 120_John_Smith)
(For the paper number see acceptance email)
  • Submit your video presentation HERE by 1 September 2022, 23:59 CEST.

Please check your video(s) before uploading to the system to ensure that both audio and video are good. You can also ask one of your co-authors or colleagues to check this for you.

Keep in mind that a powerpoint presentation with recorded audio is not in a video format unless you save it as such.
