How do I register?

Please follow the registration link. You will be asked to login with your EAGE account credentials. If you don't have an account, it can be easily created at the login dialog. If you have forgot your password it can be reset.

Can I change my registration status from live participation to online or the other way around?

Yes you can. The default registration status is in person, but you can use the link in the registration confirmation letter (that you will receive from EAGE after completing a registration) to change your status of participation until 1 May 2022. This brings maximum flexibility and allows to benefit the discounted early registration fee without uncertainties of participation status (live or in person).

Is there a special price for online only (virtual) participation?

There is no special price for online participation. Default expected participation is in person, you will have the virtual attendance option included. We kindly ask you to indicate if you are not planning to attend the event in person (using the link you will receive after registration) before 1 May 2022, as it will require different preparations from our side.

Why is the price the same for online or in person registration?

EAGE is a not for profit organisation and its activities are organised on a cost even budget, sometimes with a small profit to secure the future of activities that always flow back to the membership/communities that EAGE serves. Since the Annual 2022 is organised as an in person event with online components, EAGE will have both expenses for an in person event as well as online event components that bring extra expenses, including equipment, staff, software, part of the onsite expenses facilitating the online components, etc.

Are there any COVID restrictions?

Please check this link for information about COVID-related regulations. In particular, it might be necessary to apply a special Health form, depending on which country you are travelling from. Note that rules may change at any moment, so it is best to recheck the information above before your trip.

Do I get my money back when I need to cancel my registration?

Registration fees will be refunded as follows:

    • Cancellation received before 15 April 2022: Full refund (after the event) minus an administration fee of € 35 per person.
      Non-members please note: membership fee included in the conference fee will not be refunded; membership will remain active.
    • Cancellation received on or after 15 April 2022: No refund will be made.
      For non-members, please note your included membership will remain active for the remainder of 2022.

How do I get a visa for entering Spain?

You can apply for a visa using the invitation letter from EAGE. If you need a visa, please check the visa info website for detailed requirements and steps.

Can I participate in workshops online?

All workshops will be held in-person only.
