Your Online Presentation


Registration required

Kindly note that a conference registration is required to be a presenter in the technical programme. In addition, you must have uploaded your presentation video.

If you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible here.


Video Consent & Release Form

We need your consent for the presentation video (if applicable) and for the session recordings. Click here to access the form (login required).


Presentation video & Upload

Your pre-recorded presentation video will be used to show your presentation.

To download the correct template, please go to this page and select the appropriate template for your presentation. Record your presentation and save it in video format (mp4). The pre-recorded presentation video (the mp4 file) needs to be uploaded.

The upload of presentation videos will be handled by the AV-partner of the conference. You will receive an email from EAGE 2022 <info@slidecrew.com> with a link to the location where you can upload your presentation video(s). To upload the video, kindly follow the instructions in the email.

It is important to adhere to the time schedule: 20 minutes in total per presentation (15 minutes speaking time and 5 minutes question time), as mentioned in the Presentation Guidelines.

Online platform - general access

You will receive an email with a link to access the online platform closer to the event start date. The event platform will be available by 1 June 2022 at the latest and as of then you can check your system's connectivity in the Green Room.

If you prefer not to use your camera, upload a profile picture in the online platform. As a speaker you must be able to use your microphone and speakers (headset).


Day of your presentation - Before the session

  • Log in to the online platform with the credentials you received via email;
  • Preferred browser is Google Chrome;
  • Use a headset;
  • Check your connectivity:
    • Use this link to test your connectivity;
    • Disconnect VPN (unless you are located in China);
    • If you are located in the People's Republic of China, a VPN connection is needed.
  • If your internet connection is not stable or strong:
    • Use a wired connection (if possible;
    • Move as close as possible to the WiFi Access Point (keep in mind the amount of background noise if you are in an area with others);
    • Upload a picture of yourself to your account and do not use the camera.
  • Confirm that you are visible to others in the platform by setting your visibility to "Visible to others" (in "My Account" settings in the online portal).


Start of the session (logged in to the online platform)

  • Enter the session at latest 5 minutes before the start of the session;
  • Select 'Join now' and mute your microphone during the presentation video. Please note that:
    • You will not be presenting live in the technical sessions;
    • The technician will start the presentation video.
  • Stay in the 'Live Studio' during the whole session;
  • The live Q&A will start after your video has ended.


Live Q&A

  • Stay in the 'Live Studio' throughout the session;
  • Mute your microphone when you are not speaking; unmute when you are speaking;
  • As there is limited time for the live Q&A, please respond to the questions in short and to the point answers.
