In the Room

  • A technician will be available in the room for the AV (also applies to the e-posters);
  • The chairpersons need to use the tablet on the chairpersons' table if they need to select questions from the online audience;
  • The onsite audience will use the interruption microphone in the room.

Please be in the room well before the start of the session (preferably 10 - 15 minutes earlier) and introduce yourself to the technician. Speakers may introduce themselves to you and you can make yourself familiar with the setup of the room.


5 minutes prior to the session

  1. Please take a short time to hand out the evaluation forms (paper copy) in the audience with a request to fill them in. The forms will be collected by EAGE after the session or you can hand them in at the Speaker Service Center (near conference rooms A - I on the first floor);
  2. At the start time, start the session with the following HSE instructions:
    • Indicate the emergency exits in the room;
    • Mention that no bags should be left unattended;
    • Please mention that photographing and filming is not allowed;
    • In case of an evacuation, an announcement through the intercom will tell you what to do.
  3. Manage the session (keep track of time).


During the session

  • Pre-recorded presentation: the technician will start the video on the scheduled time. Once the video has ended, direct questions from the audience to the presenter. Please keep in mind that onsite participants can ask questions in the room; the online participants will use the 'Questions' section in the online platform;
  • In person presentation: please introduce them at the scheduled presentation time.
  • Keep track of the time; the total presentation time slot is 20 minutes.


Unfortunately, there are still changes to the technical programme (e.g. replacement presenters). We strive to provide you with an updated list of presenters at the start of your session.

Kindly note that you need to be registered for the conference for at least the day(s) of your session(s). If you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible via the Registration page.
